School Advisory Committee

The Hanau Middle/High School Advisory Committee (SAC) meets once a month, the first Wednesday of each month at 1500 hours in the school's media center. It is an open meeting, so that anyone with a concern or interest in the educational environment of our school is welcome to attend. We do ask that if you wish to place an item on the agenda that you let the members know one week prior to the meeting by sending the question or concern to the school, attention SAC, or contact a committee member. An open forum allows time for public input.

SAC is composed of an equal number of locally elected parents of students enrolled in the school and full-time professional employees of the school. The student council also provides a voting member. The principal, schools officer, and a teacher union representative complete the committee.

The purpose of the committee is to advise the school principal on all local school related activities, such as school policies, pupil personnel.
